20 Sidewalk Points in East Jakarta Cleaned

Hopefully, it can improve the comfort of residents, especially sidewalks

The East Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency cleaned up 20 spots of sidewalks from December 6 to 9, 2022.

It was done to follow up on the Jakarta Acting Governor's mandate that asked all public facilities to be cleaned for the convenience of residents.

Sidewalks of Jalan TB Simatupang at Rebo Market Cleaned

Fire and Rescue Division Head, Gatot Sulaeman said that the cleanup action was carried out together with elements of the urban villages and sub-districts.

Each spot was cleaned using two pumps with 2,500 liters capacity and 4,000 liters capacity plus 20 joint personnel.

"We work together to spray sidewalks that look dirty. Technically, we spray them using liquid foam and brushed clean, as well as rinsed then sprayed again," he explained, Friday (12/9).

He mentioned that those spots were located on Jalan TB Simatupang, Gedong; Jalan Dewi Sartika, Cililitan; Jalan Otista Raya, Bidara Cina, Jalan Dr. Sumarno; Jalan Raya Bekasi, RW 01 Jatinegara; Jalan Raya Bogor, and so forth.

"Hopefully, it can improve the comfort of residents, especially sidewalks," he hoped.
